The most popular VoIP service provider, Skype has yesterday announced the updated version of Skype v5.1 for Mac users. This updates comes with plethora of bug fixes that includes proper FireWire connected iSight camera detection.
This version allows users to dial recently called numbers from the dial pad, which helps to speed up calls to frequently used numbers, it also allows user the option of group calling, all thanks goes to the Skype developer who focused on active speaker within a conference call.
A feedback mechanism to test the call quality has also been added that can be used to rate the call quality, just after the conversation is finished. Now, contacts are shown on the right side of the Skype application, this gives user more space in the side bar of Skype app for most recent events.
