Microsoft on recently announced that Windows 7 SP1 is now available and can be downloaded from Microsoft Download Center. Most of the people can expect the Windows 7 SP1 via Windows Update, and for other peoples who are using home PC, they have to wait for the update to roll out.
Microsoft released the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 SP1 for its OEM partners on February 9 and were also made available for subscribers of MSDN and TechNet on February 16, through Windows Volume Licensing Program. Now the Windows 7 SP1 build is available to all.
The Windows SP1 will help users to keep their PC well supported by delivering updates, many of which have made previously available through Windows Update, Microsoft said in a blog post.
Microsoft further added “the update however include client-side support for RemoteFX and Dynamic Memory which are two new virtualization features enabled in Windows Server 2008 SP1”.
