How to Disable Google Search Bar in Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Apart from all this, Google has added something new to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that at least some people who already used ICS won’t like it and it is Google search bar. The Google search bar which is placed on all homescreens seems irritating to some people who actually doesn’t need it everywhere. And interestingly, Ice Cream Sandwich has no option to turn it off.

So, to get rid of this annoying Google search bar, a member from Xda developers has come up with a small trick that can be used to disable the search bar. To disable it, just go to the Settings-> Apps->All-> Google Search and hit disable. It will turn off Google search bar on every homescreen page though it makes the Google Search app not to work anymore.
