It has been long time since the Samsung launched its best smart phone Samsung Galaxy S II. Its fans and owners are increasing day by day. After couple of weeks of its launch, some custom ROMs came on surface out of which some were really fantastic and perfectly fine but some were not that good. If you are an owner of Samsung Galaxy S II or have any interest in it then you must have heard the name of MIUI ROM. It is also a very popular custom ROM. I am pretty sure that after installing it, you will completely forget the native interface and will choose it to keep it in your Galaxy S II forever. Let’s have a look at it and its installation in a bit detail.
It really deserves to be this much popular because it has a very cool and eye catching interface along with very powerful options which the native OS don’t have. For example notification drawer, camera, gallery, smart dialing and a lot more.

1. A rooted Samsung Galaxy S II, if you don’t have one then click here to follow the guide published by XDA.
2. 200MB free space in Phone.
3. Enough charging to give backup for at least 20-25 minutes.
Steps To Install MIUI ROM
STEP 1: First of all you will surely need the custom ROM MIUI. Download it from the link given below.
STEP 2: Now you have to copy this downloaded .zip file to the root of your SD card of your phone. Simply connect your phone to computer, copy and disconnect the phone.
STEP 3: Now download the Rom Manager from the link given below and install it in your phone.
STEP 4: Simply run the ROM Manager and click on “Flash ClockworkMod Recovery”, click on Samsung Galaxy S II and your phone will be restarted automatically.
STEP 5: Once done, open the ROM Manager again and click on “Reboot Into Recovery” as shown in the image below.
STEP 6: Now your GSII will reboot once again but this time ClockworkMod Recovery Mod. Couple of options will appear on scree. You can easily move up and down by using the volume keys. At this step, make a backup of the current state of your GSII.
STEP 7: Once the backup process get completed, scroll down to “wipe data/factory reset” and then scoll down a lilltle more and wipe Dalvik cache.
STEP 8: This is the main step, now to go sd cad and find the .zip folder by the name of “MIUI-1.7.29-SGS2-beta32.zip” that you downloaded in step 1.
STEP 9: Now go to CWM recovery and restart GSII. Now you phone should run on MIUI custom ROM.
