Yesterday, at the SXSW convention Microsoft released the final build of Internet Explorer 9 with no significant changes between the RC and RTM version. The RTM version is just a work of spit and polish. Last year on March 16, we saw the first IE9 developer preview and today after one year Microsoft has released its final version.
The final IE9 version is made to run smoothly on low-end machine with low-end graphics cards. Microsoft has also provided a handy link from the Tracking Protection UI to the ready-made TPL (Tracking Protection Lists).
If you are already using IE9 RC or beta version then the Release to World (RTM) build will be offered via Windows Update and it is supposed to start from today morning onwards and if you don’t have IE9 installed then you can download it from this page.
