At last the wait for iOS 5 untethered jailbreak is about to be over. Chronic Dev Team member, PosixNinja, announced on twitter that after they will be publishing a new blog post on their blog to tell everything about the untethered jailbreaking of iOS 5 and it would be something really exciting. Nobody is sure about this announcement but it could be about ETA or may be about iPad 2 and iPhone 4S support.
It was Chronic Dev Team who released the popular jailbreaking tool known as GreenPois0n for iOS 4.2.1 with the help of their team members. We are pretty sure that these guys will definitely announce a good news today as well regarding iOS 5.
P0sixninja already announced earlier this year that they have found five new userland exploits which can possibly jailbreak iOS 5 untethered and it includes iPhone 4S and iPad 2. We hope that after this long wait, the chronic dev team are going to give us a really big news.
Meanwhile, if you have missed it, you can take a look at the earlier releases from the iPhone Dev Team (Redsn0w and Sn0wbreeze to tethered jailbreak iOS 5) and the later on released semi-tethered jailbreak solution. It seems that Apple took really high level security measures for iOS 5 to make it as safe as they could, but the devs who always found success over it, proves they can do it yet again.
Now it’s just matter of few hours to know all about the upcoming tool from official dev team source. We will stay connected with dev team and will update our blog as soon as any news will hit the surface. Stay tuned with Tips Needed as we’ll come up with all the latest news and how to guides related to the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak.
