Kaspersky Lab has put forward the Kaspersky Antivirus 2012 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 to enable users more security for their PC while online and offline, without any discomfort. It automatically scans files at a comfortable speed and it automatically updates virus definitions from internet, when required. Manual or scheduled scanning can be also done with better perfection. It facilitates file antivirus,internet antivirus, cloud scanning and proactive defense, all in one grab. In addition to these, it also permits features like firewall, sandboxing, and parental control. It also allows us to detect and isolate rootkits.
The new version is also accompanied with URL Advisor module that prevents us from getting into dangerous sites. The program now becomes more uses friendly by touch screen window and also with Kaspersky desktop gadget. But another disadvantage to be noted is the exclusion of Kaspersky desktop gadget from Windows vista or 7.
The main change made in the new version is the introduction of new user interface,which had become more user friendly. The new version also offers hybrid protection which helps in reducing the delivery time. It scans our files using heuristics based security technologies. The new settings also permits us to configure various actions to file scan, mail scan, web antivirus etc. It also filters the downloading files automatically. The 2012 version also improves the cloud integration and pro active defense module.
