Microsoft announced to release SDK for Kinect, that allows developers to create games and other apps for the hands-free Xbox 360. The SDK will be launch in this spring and it can be downloaded from Microsoft’s official website. The SDK for Kinect is under development stage and the work is carried out by company’s Interactive Entertainment Business Unit in collaboration with Microsoft Research.
“The community that has blossomed since the launch of Kinect for Xbox 360 in November shows the breadth of invention and depth of imagination possible when people have access to groundbreaking technology” said Microsoft’s Steve Clayton, in a blog post Wednesday.
“Already, researchers, academics and enthusiasts are thinking through what’s next in natural and intuitive technology,” said Clayton.
Kinect Xbox 360 was announced last year in November, and after that Kinect becomes very popular in the gaming world, also it become Microsoft’s most appealing product.
