The last day, Motorola announced a new low-budget Smartphone, XT531 which runs on Google’s Android Gingerbread OS and is powered by 800 MHz processor. Motorola XT531 comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and with two cameras – a front facing VGA camera with Qik for making video calls and a 5MP rear camera. The phone offers 3G, Wi-Fi and A-GPS as connectivity options and comes with 28 days of standby time in 3G mode. Other features of this handset includes Moto Switch UI, FM Radio with RDS, 512MB ROM, 512MB RAM and offers upto 8 hours of talktime.
“Smartphone’s have become integral, personal parts of users’ lives – that’s why Motorola believes they should be fun, fashionable and feature-packed,” said Fei Liu, senior vice president, mass market consumer products, Motorola Mobility. “Motorola XT531 is an affordable device that gives young, fast-moving users everything they want from a top-quality Smartphone.”
Motorola XT531 will be available before the end of this month in countries like China followed by Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe and Latin America. The price of this handset has not yet been announced.
