Leaks of software updates for various Android devices isn’t a new thing and here is another one to add to it. The Android 2.3.4 update, which is not yet officially released for the Samsung Galaxy S  i9000 has been leaked and is available to download. It was made public at SAMFirmware.

In this leaked Android 2.3.4 update, many bugs and issues present in Android 2.3.3 are fixed, which is a routine for newer software updates. But a major feature is not enclosed in this leaked build, the video chat through Google Talk.

The Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update for the Samsung Galaxy S is also an awaited one by the users worldwide, but there have been no signs of a correct release date for the update from the authorities. They at least released the Gingerbread update for the Samsung Galaxy S i9000, which was earlier rumored not to be released at all. It was a blessing that they didn’t stick the Galaxy S i9000 users just to Android 2.2 Froyo.
