The images of the upcoming Samsung Hercules device has been leaked on the internet. It shows that the device is supposed to be the first handset that will support T-Mobile’s super fast 4G HSPA+ network. Before this leak, there were lots of confusion regarding the device, whether Samsung will rebrand Galaxy S II as Hercules or it will launch a new device. But now it has been confirmed as Galaxy S II by looking on the back of the device.
There is a lot of mystery and speculation surrounding this device about what its specification will be. However, as Samsung Galaxy S II is featured with AMLOED Plus display, we can assume Hercules will come with the same display technology. But still, there is confusion regarding its processor. It may be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor Exynos, or a 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S3.
We can expect this device to be shipped with Google’s Android 2.3 OS and Samsung’s TouchWiz User Interface, and that it may be released on September 21st as rumors suggest.
