Samsung has just concluded the Galaxy Tab Launch event. And they have revealed the awaited Galaxy Tab 750 and 730 models. Both the models are the same old 10.1 and 8.9 inch Galaxy Tab devices respectively. The changes are for their names only as Samsung has followed their usual custom of changing the names of their devices when launched in India.
The Galaxy Tab 750 comes with a 10.1 inch WXGA display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels with full HD (1080p) video playback. The 730 has an 8.9 inch display.
Both devices are powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual core 1GHz processor with 1GB RAM. Tegra 2 can run the devices with ease for sure.
Coming to the OS and UI, Samsung has brought in the TouchWiz UX interface and both 750 and 730 run on the latest Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS.
Both of them have a 3MP rear camera with LED flash featuring 720p HD video recording and a 2MP front facing camera for the purpose of video calling.
The Galaxy Tab 750 will weigh a total of 565 grams and the other model, the 730, will have 465 grams as weight.
Both the tablets beats the iPad 2 in ‘ the most thinnest competition ‘, with a measurement of just 8.6mm, making it the most thinnest tablet in the world.
The connectivity features include Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, 3G and Wi-Fi.
The Galaxy Tab 750 is priced at Rs.36,200 and the 730 will be available for 33,900.
By the end of this month, Galaxy Tab 750 will be available in the markets and by mid September, the 730 variant will also arrive in the markets.
