TCPEye is a free network monitoring software that displays the list of all currently opened TCP/IP and UDP ports on your computer. The computers which runs on Windows 7 or Vista has a built in Performance monitor utility that displays the list of all the process that are currently active and which are accessing the internet connection. But,for computers running on other version of Windows, does not offer such type of flexible utility to check the process which are currently active.

TCPEyeTCPEye, is designed in such a way that list all open ports, information about the process that opened the port and also displays the process name, full path of the process, version information of the product name and file description.

It allows user to close all unwanted TCP connections, kill the process that opened the ports and save the TCP/IP ports information to HTML or XML file. It also automatically mark with pink color suspicious TCP/IP owned by unidentified applications.

You can also check the total number of opened TCP/IP and UDP ports through command prompt without using TCPEye. The command prompt will help you to find all the opened connections that are accessing your internet connection. But, it doesn’t display the list of websites/servers that are accessing to it and the name of the country to which is connected.

To perform quick check,open command prompt and type “netstat  -n -a”
