Apple has added yet another update to the iOS 4 collection, the iOS 4.3.4. In the change log, only some security fixes are given and those ones are the fixes to close the JailbreakMe 3.0 PDF exploit. Few days back, JailbreakMe 3.0 was released which enables the users to jailbreak their devices without the help of the computer. It could be done on the devices itself. Users just have to go to JailbreakMe’s site and choose the option to jailbreak.
If you want to keep your jailbreak, it is advised not to go for the iOS 4.3.4 update. Be on iOS 4.3.3, jailbreak it with JailbreakMe and install the PDF Patcher from Cydia which does the same fix as that of the iOS 4.3.4 security fix and it won’t cause the jailbreak to lose also. So it is better to stick on to this method.
If you don’t need the jailbreak, then you could move on to getting the iOS 4.3.4 update. iOS 4.3.4 supports all devices that supports the iOS 4.3.3. Below, the direct download links of iOS 4.3.4 IPSW files are given. Download the IPSW and update it through iTunes if you want to do it manually.
