The Ubuntu developers have released the Ubuntu 10.10 release candidate version prior to the upcoming final version of Maverick Meerkat. The Ubuntu 10.10 final version is going to be released by the authorities on October 10th 2010. Not many changes will be coming up in the final version of Ubuntu 10.10 and so you could get this release candidate version now itself to see what’s new.
The Ubuntu 10.10 RC comes up with lot new features. The Ubuntu 10.10 arrives with the final version of the GNOME 2.32.0 desktop. Shotwell has taken over the place of F-spot, becoming the default image editor and viewer in Ubuntu 10.10. There are lot more features and you could start testing it now.
