Google Sound Search Widget a.k.a. Google Ears is a feature of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which was announced during the Google I/O keynote the previous month. Most of you might not have paid attention to it even if you watched the keynote online because this was not the most exciting thing Google had to show off. Nexus 7 was something which caught the attention of all viewers! So what does Google Ears actually do?
Google Ears is an app which lets you identify which music you are hearing right now, displays the details of the song with album art and gives you the link to buy it in the Google play store. Something which reminds you of Shazam or Sound Hound.
If you are crazy about music and want to try this out on ice cream sandwich, XDA has the solution. Here is how to install Google Ears on ICS.
