HTC has released another Android Gingerbread update via over-the-air (OTA) and this time the device that is lucky to receive the update is the HTC Inspire 4G on AT&T network. This device is a mid-range Android handset that was launched in mid-February this year. Being a mid-range handset, it is available for merely $99 and features 4.3-inch display, 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon Adreno 205 GPU, 768MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage capacity and Android Froyo (2.2) OS.
This update will make the HTC Inspire 4G an awesome and powerful device for those who already own one and don’t want to spend on a phone. The features that this update will change includes:- Various minor bug fixes, updated application tray and FriendStream features, added quick settings in the notifications window, improved power management function and media experience.
